The Salvation Army values and continues to make it a priority to invest in, connect with, give hope, and share the love of Jesus Christ with young people.  We claim the truth from Luke 18:15-17 where Jesus teaches His disciples and continues to teach us today:

“One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering him.  Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” (NLT)

We are so blessed to have children, youth and young adults share with us their energy, their views, their hopes, and their dreams.  We value them and desire to hear from them, and we pray for them.  It is significant for us to provide Christian biblical teaching and a safe place of retreat for them to seek God, ask questions, and connect with one another.  We recognize that they are not only the church of today, but the church of tomorrow.

We look forward to how God is going to continue to use The Salvation Army Ontario Camping Ministries, to teach, encourage, empower, and give hope to people of all ages.  We give thanks to God for His love, grace, and generosity that flows through the gift of our camps.  May He richly bless you as you plan your retreat, shine the light of Jesus and make a difference in the lives of those around you.
