Moms & Kids Camp
Moms and Kids Camp is a great way to get away and spend some quality time outdoors with your kids. Our team will also provide programming for your kids throughout the week so you have some time to focus on you. Enjoy camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, worship, sessions and more at Jackson’s Point Camp.
Meet the Directors
Captain Laura Van Schaick
Laura came to The Salvation Army through camping ministries (she even met her husband, Stefan, there) and has now been an Officer for 10 years. Having recently written a curriculum to help girls Grow in Jesus, she is passionate about helping girls and women embrace their identity in Christ and empowering them to be agents of transformation in their communities. She has two children and loves hiking, biking, playing board games, and doing science experiments with them.
